This case involves a claim relating to the cost of constructing a computer room at the facility leased by appellant to the General Services Administration. By letter dated March 17, 1995, the Board was advised that the parties had settled the claim which is the subject of this appeal. A stipulation for entry of judgment, for appellant, calls for $23,000, plus interest on that sum if not paid within thirty calendar days from the date of this decision. Both parties to this dispute have certified that they will not seek reconsideration of or appeal this decision. In accordance with Rule 36(e), the Board adopts the parties' stipulation by decision and enters judgment as requested. Rule 36(e) permits the Board to adopt the parties' stipulation of settlement, by decision, and it provides that such decisions are adjudications of the appeal on its merits. See, e.g., PJR Construction Corp., GSBCA 6062, et al., 85-1 BCA 17,752. Decision Based upon the stipulation for entry of judgment, this appeal is GRANTED, and judgment is entered for appellant in the amount of $23,000, plus interest on that amount at the rates provided, pursuant to the Contract Disputes Act, starting thirty days from the date of this judgment, until paid. The Board will forward the certificates of finality, together with an authenticated copy of this decision, to the United States General Accounting Office to be certified for payment from the permanent indefinite judgment fund, 31 U.S.C. 1304 (1988). ______________________________ EDWIN B.
