     Lt. Col. Charles P. Davey, Jr., USAF, Director, Joint Personal
Property Shipping Office - Colorado Springs (DOD), appearing for
Department of the Air Force.

WILLIAMS, Board Judge.

                              ORDER

     On August 31, 1995, John R. Moss requested that the General
Accounting Office review the Department of the Air Force's denial
of his claim for additional temporary storage of personal property
at government expense in connection with his return from an
overseas assignment.

     On July 17, 1996, pursuant to Section 211 of the Legislative
Branch Appropriations Act, 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-53, 109 Stat. 535
(1995), a determination by the Acting Director of the Office of
Management and Budget dated June 28, 1996, and a delegation of
authority from the Acting Administrator of the General Services
Administration dated July 17, 1996, this matter was transferred to
the General Services Board of Contract Appeals.

     On August 9, 1996, Mr. Moss informed the Board that he had
received the requested reimbursement through alternate channels and
was withdrawing his claim.

     Accordingly, this claim is DISMISSED.
