     Bryan H. Wood, Navy Public Works Center, Norfolk, VA,
Claimant.

     J.A. Hughes, Chief, Travel Policy Branch, Defense Finance and
Accounting Service, Columbus, OH, appearing for the Department of
Defense.

BORWICK, Board Judge. 

     Bryan Wood, an excepted civil service employee of the
Department of the Navy, appealed the disallowance of his request
for reimbursement of $500 of a loan origination fee in connection
with his relocation from Guam to Norfolk, Virginia.  The Defense
Finance and Accounting Center has determined that Mr. Woods is
entitled to the reimbursement he seeks.  Since the Government is
prepared to pay Mr. Woods the amount he seeks, this claim has been
rendered moot, and is dismissed.
