        Gary M. Lowe, San Bernardino, CA, Claimant.
 
        Helen  Murphy,   Personnel  Support   Organization,  Defense
   Finance  and   Accounting  Service,  Denver,  CO,  appearing  for
   Department of Defense.
 
   NEILL, Board Judge.
 
        Upon the receipt of its  copy of the claim package submitted
   by Mr.  Lowe to  this Board,  the  agency noted  the presence  of
   certain  documentation  which  it  apparently  had  not  had  the
   opportunity  to  review  previously.    The   agency,  therefore,
   requested the  Board  to suspend  processing  the claim  until  a
   review  could be made at the  agency level of its previous denial
   of Mr. Lowe's claim.    
 
        By letter dated July 22, 1998, the agency informed the Board
   that its review  of the case is  complete and that the  claim has
   been settled.   Mr. Lowe, when contacted by  the Board, confirmed
   this fact.  
 
        This case is, therefore, dismissed.
