   Service, Columbus, OH, appearing for Department of Defense.
 
   HYATT, Board Judge.
 
        On December 21, 1999, claimant, James F. Heiser, an employee
   of the  Department of Defense (DOD), requested the Board's review
   of  DOD's  decision  denying  reimbursement  for  the  moving  of
   household goods  under the commuted  rate system.  His  letter to
   the  Board  and  supporting documentation  was  forwarded  to the
   Defense Finance and  Accounting Service (DFAS) for response.   On
   January 3, 2000,  DFAS notified the Board of  its conclusion that
   upon  review  of  the documentation  furnished  by  claimant, Mr.
   Heiser is  entitled to an additional  payment of $1436.29.   In a
   letter filed  on January  11, 2000, Mr.  Heiser states  that this
   satisfies his claim.  Accordingly, the claim is dismissed.
