   Center, Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin, TX, appearing for
   Department of Veterans Affairs.

        Ben E. Smith  asked us to review the  Department of Veterans
   Affairs'   (VA) decision   to deny his request  for reimbursement
   for a second  vehicle and  lodging taxes.   On April  26 and  28,
   2000, the  VA advised us that  Mr. Smith would be  reimbursed for
   the second vehicle and lodging taxes.  On May 4, 2000,  the Board
   received a letter  from Mr. Smith  requesting termination of  his
   claim.  Accordingly, this claim is dismissed.
