     Ray E. York, Deputy Director, Travel Pay Services, Travel Systems and Procedures,
Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Indianapolis, IN, appearing for Department of
Defense.

NEILL, Board Judge.

     The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has advised that this case was
erroneously filed with this Board.  It concerns an appeal of the agency's decision not to waive
the claimant's indebtedness for certain permanent change of station benefits.  The appeal
should have been filed with DFAS's Directorate of Debt and Claims Management.  

     Mr. Benfer has been advised of the Board's intention to dismiss this case as misfiled. 
He poses no objection.  

     Accordingly, this case is dismissed.
