     Shirley L. Autry, Deputy Director, Finance, United States Army Corps of Engineers
Finance Center, Millington, TN, appearing for Department of the Army.

     The Army Corps of Engineers transferred Kevin J. Fagot from Arizona to Arkansas
in October 2003.  Mr. Fagot moved into temporary quarters in Arkansas, while his wife
stayed behind in Arizona to complete her school semester.  The Corps reimbursed Mr. Fagot
for temporary quarters subsistence expenses (TQSE) he incurred during his first sixty days
in Arkansas, but refused to pay him for such expenses his wife incurred during that period
of time in Arizona.  Mr. Fagot asked the Board to review the Corps' determination not to
reimburse him for his wife's TQSE.

     After further reflection, the Corps decided that its initial decision was incorrect and
that "allowable reimbursements will be made to the claimant."  Consequently, the Corps
requested that the case be dismissed and Mr. Fagot did not object to the request.

     The case is dismissed.
