        Susan R.  Sheely, Chief,  Travel  Management Branch,  United
   States Geological Survey, Department of the Interior, Reston, VA,
   appearing for Department of the Interior.
 
   BORWICK, Board Judge.
 
        The  United  States  Geological Survey,  Department  of  the
   Interior,  submitted  to this Board  a claim for Jan  S. Doughman
   contesting the  agency's refusal  to reimburse  her for  mileage.
   The  Board sent four separate letters requesting information from
   the parties.   The  information needed to  analyze the  merits of
   this claim  was never submitted.   The only letter  received from
   claimant was submitted on May 19, 2000, requesting that the Board
   "drop  this case."   On July 10,  the Board requested  in writing
   that claimant  call the Board by July 21  so that the Board could
   schedule  a conference  call  to  ascertain  if  claimant  really
   desires a  dismissal.  Claimant  did not  respond.  The  claim is
   dismissed.
