     Panfilo Marquez, American Embassy Paris, APO Area Europe, Claimant.

     Steven B. Steiner, Managing Director, Domestic Financial Services Directorate,
Washington, DC, appearing for Department of State.

HYATT, Board Judge.

     Claimant, Panfilo Marquez, requested the Board's review of the Department of State's
decision to deny reimbursement of certain fees he incurred while on temporary duty for long-
term training in Washington, D.C.  Upon further review of the circumstances, the State
Department has determined that Mr. Marquez's request for reimbursement was consistent
with departmental and federal regulations and has arranged for reimbursement of the fees by
September 20, 2002.  In light of this, Mr. Marquez has requested that his claim be removed
from our docket.

     Accordingly, this claim is dismissed.
